Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa White-Gluz is the former lead vocalist of the metalcore group The Agonist, and the now the band's lead vocalist for Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 in 1985) is an Canadian artist, most well-known as the vocalist in charge of the Swedish melody-based death metal band Arch Enemy, and former singer-songwriter and founder of The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. The combination of singing and grunting (clean vocals) are part of her distinctive vocal style. While she is mainly associated with melodic metalcore and death metal her appearances have included a guest vocalist for powerful metal, symphonic rock and deathcore groups, including Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf, and has performed live alongside Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz (2004-2014). The year was 2004 and, White-Gluz and fellow members Danny Marino, Chris Kells, formed The Agonist from Montreal, Quebec. White-Gluz released three albums as the lead singer for The Agonist. She left in the spring of 2014, when she accepted an offer to join the band as vocalist Arch Enemy. Alissa Alissa Alissa
