Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz born on 10 January 1993, is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. The name is often referred to as the "King of the New Reggaeton",[2][3] he belongs to "the younger generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. His debut album, Afrodisiaco, was released in November of the year 2020. Vice Versa was his second studio album was released in June of 2021. It featured the song that was the album's lead track "Todo de Ti". From 12 nominations, the singer has received two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Olasio Ruiz was conceived in San Juan (Puerto Rico) on the 10th January 1993. His family was raised in Carolina and Canovanas. [4][5] Alejandro's father, guitarist Raul Ocasio Ruiz, and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz (backing vocalist) introduced him to many of his musical inspirations which included Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Chris Brown. Alejandro and his father resided for many years in the United States. They mainly settled in New York City and Miami. Alejandro and Anuel, a fellow Puerto Rican rapper, were close friends from childhood. They both attended the same school and took part in classes. 9/10/10 Alejandro was a gifted dancer in his youth and was an active participant in talent shows. After finishing high school, Alejandro enrolled at University of Puerto Rico. He played soccer from the age of six to 25. However, he quit playing because he wasn't performing at the level he hoped. In the year 20 the injury he sustained. He moved to Orlando, Florida to attempt to be scouted for a spot in the Premier Development League (PDL) however, he was not successful. Rauw Alejandro's musical style is Latin R&B and reggaeton. He also enjoys songs that are rhythmic and ballads. Billboard noted that it's contributed to "set him aside from a growing category of reggaetoneros who are influenced by pop".
